It has been brought to my attention that one of our members has passed away. CindyLJ. So sad to hear. If you were friends with her and wish to leave your condolences to her husband I understand that he will be checking her messages here on DS from time to time.

So sad to hear . I had been wondering where she was off to, so sad to hear this!

CindyLJ will be missed. I remember her egg in a cup. Still make that and shared it with others I know.

Last she was here she had someone working on her flower bed.

Ah gee. She is such a sweetheart. My deepest sympathies to her husband and family. When someone doesn't post, I just assume they get busy elsewhere, but that just isn't so in this case.

I just started to get to know her, and was sending PMs with no answers. Now I know why. She was a lovely lady. I am so very sorry.
May God give her family comfort.

Hi dixie4me, David posting here, Cindy's husband.
Thank you for starting this thread and passing along the news. This is sad, Cindy was taken too soon, but not soon enough to spare her the immense physical pain she endured for 2+ years. She was so brave and gracious. I do miss her dearly. Thank you to all on this message board for your kind words and comforting thoughts, much appreciated.
