I just received a text from her husband and he said she wanted him to let me know that it went well. She is in some pain, however.

That's all I have for you now, but I'm sure you're all as relieved as I am to know. It's behind her and she can start to heal!!!

I just got an update...the herniation only made it to C1 so they didn't have to cut it out. She's expected to make a full recovery!
