Do you hens ever get random friend requests? From people you have never seen before and don't seem to have any issues, yet they seek you out and want be your friend? If so, how do you handle it? I received not 1, but 2 in the same day (yesterday).
1st request: from a guy who is 1/2 my age that wants to be my friend......and get this.....thinks I'm cute! ha ha! He is brand new and managed to get a few others to accept friend requests and surprise, surprise.....they are all girls! Personally, I think he is "player" and this old gal ain't playin' if you know what I mean. lol
2nd request: Again, from someone who is prob. 1/2 my age that send me a personal message.....no, more like a "book" on how he would like to share his "culture" and thinks that "because of my age, I would have experiences to share with him". ha ha! Ummm....what kind of "experiences" is he really talking about? lol
I hate to turn people away, but I don't think either of these guys are on DS because they are looking for a support group. I think they are using DS as some type of social network.
Anyone else come across these 2 jokers?
I am off to my daughter's bedroom to hopefully complete it this time! Have been working on cleaning it out (she is getting rid of a ton of stuff she has outgrown) & ordered her a really cute comforter yesterday. I guess it's time to say goodbye to Tinkerbell. *sniff* *sniff* My daughter is growing up & will be in 7 the grade and my son will be in 8th. Wish I could turn back time when they were toddlers. Just loved that time of their life....every little thing was a new discovery. *sigh*. I guess all we can do is go forward.

Thanks for all of the replies. I am definitely not going to give the first 2 guys my time, however, I received a 3rd request this evening from another male, who has been on the site since the beginning of May, although, he really hasn't had any activity other than a few hugs. At least with this one, he sites a condition (depression). Of course, it could be bogus, however I have decided to accept his request and will proceed with caution.
I am assuming that I could "delete" a friend if necessary?
Also, since my profile isn't private anyway, could anyone (who is not my friend) see my hugs and photos? I realize that they can see what I have written about myself but wasn't sure about the other stuff.

Each photo you post has a box to check. Options are private or friends only or public
Same for journal entry
On hugs it depends on how you have your account set. If you have it set private then no one is able to see a hug you send except your friends. No one can see your profile but your friends. No one can send you a hug but your friends. Hugs are seen in the Activity Feed when you go to the Home Page.
Yes you can delete someone as a friend if you choose.
