So many.....but first one that comes to mind is catching a fly ball while playing in a mixed league at age 38. I had not played softball in 25 years. Oh what a feeling. It was one of those things I was sure I couldn't do but I did it the entire season and loved it.

I was on the ferries going to Vancouver Island and the ride is 1 1/2 hours. The wind was blowing so hard and this was the last ship they were allowing through and people were getting seasick. I took my 3 year old son out onto the deck and the wind was pushing him back so hard that I had to hold his little hand and he was laughing. We struggled to the front of the ship and he fell on his bum and the wind slid him clear across the deck to the observation window. We laughed and he wanted to do that again, so I went back to get him and we struggled back to the front so the wind could slide him across the deck on his bum again.

We were screaming and laughing and kept doing that for some time (it was safe) and I noticed that inside the observation deck there was a crowd gathered inside and they were laughing and watching us. It was a magical night and I've never been on the ferries where the wind was that strong again.
