Good evening, I never had catfish Dixe. We eat a lot of lake perch up here in Wisconsin.
I had an ok day with pain, I had to deal with a little more of it then usual.
I got my hair cut this afternoon and tomorrow I have dental cleaning.
Busy busy getting ready for our trip to Florida.
A week from this Wed and we will be taking off.
Now I need to rest for awhile!!

I saw my doc today and wasted no time in telling her that I'd like to see a Rheumatologist! I said I thought it was time for a fresh set of eyes to take a look and figure out why, at my age, I have so suddenly started to decline.

She actually thought that was a fine idea! I never know what attitude to expect with her so I'm always a little anxious going in. She told me there was a new Rheumy in a town just a half hour drive from me...yay! And she's female doc...bigger yay! Now I wait to have them call me to make the appt..

I decided that I can't just accept the state I'm in and resign myself to a continued decline. Pain is starting to make me feel depressed, confused and hopeless. I have some hope, now.

I haven't had catfish, either. Aren't they the really ugly ones with whiskers? I'm glad the odor will be in another house, Kim! Enjoy.

Cindi...it sounds like you're taking care of the important stuff before your trip...your HAIR! I hope you manage to sleep tonight.

I've been working on stuff without a break since I got home at 1:00. Errands, lots of baking and then the clean up. I'm hurting like hell and completely wiped.....too tired to bother with cooking dinner just for me.

I agree with you, Dixie, I don't like cooking fish in my house, and only do it outside on the grill. Then, my preference is salmon. Not wild about catfish.

Given the weather in Wisconsin, I"ll bet you can't wait to get to Florida, Cindi. Are you going to include the Disney sights?

Cherry, I am glad you are getting a fresh set of eyes to look at you. Good luck with that. Hopefully you will get some answers quickly.

I am in pain, watching Katie Couric's special today on de-cluttering. Clutter is not a problem for me, but I always like new ideas for keeping things organized. I wish my husband was here to watch this. ;)

My daughter comes over and if we have had fish she says " whats that smell" No matter how i cook it.
I love to BBQ salmon and halibut, but it is too cold now. BTW if i don't want family for dinner i have fish!

tonight is maple chicken thighs with sweet potato's and probably a salad!

Oh My gosh glad i did not watch Katie today. my dream is a dumpster out my window and i just throw things in it.

Cherry i wish you all the best with the new DR..I do believe a new set of eyes will be refreshing. The only thing with that and i am lazy, is repeating the whole story of me again. I get to comfortable with my old Dr, but i too am ready to change and once my scrips run out i am. I am not Dr "shopping" just looking for one that cares!

Talk about that some of our sites seem to have problems and i answered one thread and then found i was deleted. If i offend any one I am so sorry. I know we all have different pain, life's and yet we are here. and i love hearing the good the band the ugly as i am here for you all.

Janie I am with you on grilling salmon outside. We love it. I often grill extra for a salad the next day.
