Evening Hens,

Hope you have all had a good day, productive day? I got over my sick stomach and then made 2 batches of the Caramel corn. Then the kids and I delivered it to the neighbors and visited a little while which was nice.

My collie is on his second round of antibiotics and is not doing good at all. He's very weak and it's not looking good. He's so pitifully weak but the vet can't find anything wrong with him.
Sadly I'm afraid I'm going to lose him:(

It's football tonight. My home state team(titans) vs the Jets. Kids are eating left overs for supper so I'm off the hook tonight for fixing supper.

Dixie I am just reading this. I am so wishing for Jack to pull through. Sorry the vet can't find what is wrong. Good to hear your tummy is better. I used to make a Carmel Corn for New Years. Can't remember why New Years. Have a good recipe I will put up for holiday treats.

Just got back to the room from visiting my DS friend Barbara . We met her for lunch/dinner. Then looked in the little shops in the French Quarter. Then to her apartment and a visit with Xophie Tucker, her dog. After that we met up with her daughter. Long day but good to see a friend and a little night life in French Quarter. Pretty quiet there on a Monday. The funniest thing was hearing a guy band sing a lady gaga song. They were in shorts and flip flops with crazy Santa caps.

Home tomorrow, well almost. Train to Memphis. Leave Memphis Wednesday and should be home by one. I miss my fur babies.

i will be praying for jack hoping he will pull through .............my pup has hip problems and if it keps getting worse we will have to take him back to the doctors for something to help him ..........for now the doctor says just keep an eye on him .................it is funney how we hurt when our pets hurt and miss them when we are gone ..........they becom one of the family .............have a good trip hippo .............i actualy did have a productive day was in towen all day went to the doctors we are falling apart ................than went shoping and out to supper ..................have a good night .......god bless...........
