Morning Hens,
I am on the road with dh. We are currently in west Virginia headed to Pennsylvania to deliver. We are hauling transformers. Jill is with us, she is not excited but doing ok. She is a good girl.
Last night we were looking for a place to eat and blew a tire so we wound up eating at the truck stop resturaunt:( I guess it was ok. Usually they are very bad.
I'm getting really sore....all the bouncing.
How was everyone's easter? I didn't get any easter pics of my granddaughter because she is on vacation with her daddy.
Wishing you all a Happy start to your week.
Hugs

88FWhat I do like is early morning clouds and then they disappear and the sun comes out. That was it's cooler in the morning. I'm sitting here looking out the window at the hummingbird with the river and dike as a back drop. It's hard to invision ever leaving but I'm also a realist with aging, especially when the luncheon we had with thirty former classmates on Monday. Sandra, we get news of...

We woke to the garden being flooded, hilarious watching milo trying to find a way down the garden without getting his paws wet ! He was literally using the pots down the side of the fence like stepping stones.
Easter has been pretty boring really if i'm honest, the weather didnt help, had it been nice i probably would have been out more pottering in the garden, ive also had a cold, feeling better today.
Enjoy your trucking, dont get too sore.

The road trip sounds fun aside from the bouncing. When we can do one I love a road trip with my husband.
You are seeing a lot of country Dixie. Envy you and happy for you too. Sorry you didn't get a pic of granddaughter in her Easter dress. Oh just saw first butterfly so hummingbirds should be on their way.
Empathy I think you have a very smart cat. Poor guy didn't have land or at least he went extra efforts to find some. We were quiet here also Empathy. No grandchildren. Both families go to other grannies.
The only Easter pic I saw was on Facebook of granddaughter #1 on a four wheeler with a big smile on her face. Hope mum and dad are recovering.
F. and I had a lovely dinner with a couple new recipes. I would modify the pea salad but the Chive Biscuit was perfect. I used a cooking bag for the first time to cook the ham. I believe it helped to keep it moist and the clean up was very easy.
Wishing all a happy day
