Good morning....

Boys will almost kill you with worry before they finally grow up! And they take longer to grow!!!! My youngest is 25 and he's still a worry...always my fearless one.

I'm in a terrible pain and depression road and I just don't see an end in sight. Not in this lifetime. Don't worry...that wasn't a threat of personal harm. I'm just extremely discouraged.

Trixie, the mighty indoor hunter, delivered another carcass to me this morning. She now places them under my computer chair so I won't miss them. I think this one might have been there longer than necessary and I might have even roled my chair over the tail before I discovered it!

I slept for a half hour of my alarm clock making it's horrible buzzing sound before I was aware of it. Needless to say, I'm in a world of hurt. Got my appt. with my shrink and then I have to stop at the nursing home and do the Aunt's haircut that I wasn't able to do yesterday.

That's enough blabbering from me. Hey...has anyone talked to Heather? I'm worried.

I so miss climbing trees! I feel sorry for my son, he missed out on going over the park and hanging about in the woods. It seemed safe back then when i was a child, nowadays we tend to wrap our kids up and not let them go anywhere. I spent all day over the park and in the woods when i was a kid.

Got to tell you something funny, my other half has a go at cooking the dinner on a Sunday, yesterday he decided he was going to do sausages, mash, beans and mini Yorkshire puddings. We sat down to eat and i cut into the Yorkshire and it looked really undercooked in the middle, 5 mins into our meal he says "We haven't got any eggs, so i made the Yorkshire's without them" i burst out into hysterical laughter and my other half is saying "what?" "what?" So innocently.
So basically we were eating cooked milk and flour! I wonder if he'd make pancakes without the egg?!!

Today ive not felt like doing anything, i have my cardiologist appointment first thing tomorrow and its all i can think about. I get the results of the monitor i wore and the echo-cardiogram of my heart.
I'm pretty sure i'm ok, but i am a worry wart!

empathy, that is funny. how would men survive?

i have a pot of beans soaking that i'll cook. the rest is up in the air. more looking for a medicare plan...i barely slept, so my energy level is zip.

I have nothing to report than the usual. Just checking in and letting you know I'm reading your posts and loving you guys.

I am ready also, but likewise have nothing to report, really. I did a little paperwork this morning, cleaned up the kitchen, and am now scanning things here. I am in pain and depressed because of it. With Thanksgiving behind us, it is now on to Christmas. The holidays used to be such a joyful time for me. Now? I just want to get through them.

I am thinking of you hens and remembering you in my prayers.

not much to report here eather except i am still feeling good and that is a record so far ........................spent the day with my husband looking on the computer and we also looked for fencing sords for praticing .............kind of expenceve ................i was lucky with my children they had a lot of bush to run around in when they were little and it was all surounded by the river and houses and as far as i know they never went that far it was a long way off and they were always building cabins ................i even built cabins with them...............i was going through depershion back then to but when i looked at one of them i just had to stick around no mater what it took ..............i still feel the same way but now i have added all the grandchildren to that feeling ................my husband is going back to camp for tomorow and i have to bath the dog i will need a bath when i am finished .................cherry i hope and will pray that you will be feeling better ...............my husband is actualy a good cook the only complaint i have is sometimes he puts to much spices i like things kind of bland for my stomac .................the holidias arent the same for me eather not like when the kids were little .................we are just going to go and visit the kids when they are not bissey .my boys are planing somthing they said they would let me know what whe they deside .................my house is way to small to have them all over and they are all not getting along .......................well have a good evening and god bless

Good evening all!

Well, my agenda for today was to do NOTHING and I pretty much succeed in my goal. But the problem was I couldn't enjoy it as much as I wanted because it hurt to sit in the chair for TV or lie in the bed for reading. We have a heating pad that I think if rediculous. You have to hold down the lever for it to stay on and there is not a low or medium heat setting, just hot. I know it's suppose to be a safety issue so you don't fall asleep with it on and burn yourself but I still think there should be a low setting for just that reason.

I have got to get some shopping done but I've not been to the office all week with all the activities for Thanksgiving. I am soo tired of traveling.

Kim, I hope you enjoy the visit with your Mom. My Mom was here this week and we had a nice visit. I don't know if I will see her again until Christmas. Let us know how the candy turned out. What do y'all make?

Cherry, I hate to even ask what your mighty outdoor hunter delivered to you.......but I think I have a feeling that I know. lol.

Empathy, had to laugh as the other half never has a clue, right? Mine seems to be able to cook when he is away at the ranch but when he is home he's helpless. I don't think I've ever had Yorkshire pudding but I've certainly heard of it. But when you said mash did you mean mash potatoes? If not......what is mash? I love hearing about other countries foods and traditions.

The first person I met on DS is from GRB, we unfortunately share the same problem with not being able to swallow (anxiety not physical) but we've become very good friends and I get a kick out of how many things don't translate in ENGLISH. lol We were talking about our weight and it seems like I don't know how to discribe mine in stones. :-)

Serenity, what do you serve with the beans? I love a big pot of beans with cornbread. Do you put bacon in them or sausage?

Cindy, I know how you feel. The holiday's were always so joyful and it's sad to think we just have to get through them and please let them be over soon. I hope that you can get through it without soo much pain.

Muskrattiger, are you talking about real fencing swords for fencing?? Is that a hobby in your family? Very interesting. Kid's miss out on soo much these days without having woods and wonderful yards to build cabins and actually play outside! What a joy those grands bring.
