oh, i'm freezing and it's super windy out. i need smokes, so i will venture out at some point. i'm already feeling cabin fever and arthritis flares.

Ive had a 45 minute healthy walk into town and got a couple of things.
When i got back i had lunch and then i got baking, guess what i baked... Christmas cake.. lol

Oh gee guys, I hate to think of what is going on in my tidy home. My baby giraff (my teen son) tips everything over and leaves his mark everywhere. When I get home there will be a pizza box next to the garbage, crumbs on the stove, a cup and plate in the sink, shoes where they are not supposed to be, towel in the bathroom shoved in the rack, etc. Small annoyances for sure, but add up real fast.

My mega migraine finally broke this morning so I'm raring to go and tackle these big jobs at work this morning.

I might get creative and fry a porkchop!

I'm going to blab a little before I lose power. They let kids out of school early and have already cancelled it for tomorrow.

Wind is going to be a bigger problem than rain where I am. I ran around to a few stores this morning and had to drive a bit to find batteries. I probably bought things I'll never use or need, but I'm thinking that if the power goes out, I'll look out for my disabled tenant, too.

I dug out a propane camp burner that my son gave me for the last storm...didn't need it. I got some instant coffee (gag) because it will be better than no coffee. I bought crackers, canned chunky soups, I have plenty of tuna and canned chicken...even those icky ramen noodles. My tenant likes everything.

Then I got busy and made cookies and brownies. I feel like I should be cooking more before it's too late, but I've done too much and now I'm really feeling it.

I've been up since 2:30 this morning so I wonder if I'll sleep through the worst of the wind predicted for late tonight. I think I need a rest......

Angela great news on the "farewell migraine". I had two of those boys and can remember the dirty clothes, dishes and occasional glass of something in their room growing something fuzzy.

Empathy the walk sounds wonderful. Christmas cake sounds good. Is this like a fruit cake. I make apple cakes for the holiday.

Dixie your recipe sounds good. Laundry is piling up here. Everything has been a little laid back since the puppy came.

Serenity sounds like you are getting some of the storm. I wish you didn't have to go out in the cold. That always brings more pain.

i hope everyon remains safe through the storms comming in ................my migrain finaly broak yesterday it is at a 3 now so i went out with some girlfrends to lunch had funbut was on meds......................today it was couch dutie migrains at a 4sometimes 5 so i am on meds today o am good so long as i behave ................so i didnt do much today tomorow i have to clean my house i was hoping to do it to day because my husband is comming home tomorow ......................westerday or the day befor one of my sons came to visit me and i was in bed sleeping and the dos was barking and he was noking and they couldent wake me up and i had the door loked so he went home and called me later ...........i realy wasent happy i mised his visit ................and when i was comming home from having lunch with the girls i went to see one of my daughters and had a realy good visit ...........she is going through a hard time her husband left her for someone else .............she is starting to do better and doing what she needs to do as far as getting suport because he isent giving her nothing .......................christmass cake sounds good ...............enigma i am so glad your migrain broke................cherry you sem like you got everything under control................it is raining a little and windie the power went out just for about 15 minitus ................i had three boys and that was my expersnce to ...............if i ran out of dishes i new just ware to find them ................a cupple of times they had there closes all over the flour and this went on all the time i through the bag out side and they were not happy with me they went and got there close and put them away after that i would just have to say do you want me to through your closes out and they would clean them up ...............there would be no ware to walk ..............taqlking to much it is the meds for my migrain they make me talk moer ..............everyone take care of your selves ..................oooooooooooooooo
