Morning Hens, course it's barely morning here. I slept till 11:30 and feel terrible for it. I have a headache and body aches grrrrrr.
It's a cool crips morning here in tn, we are suppose to have our first frost in the morning. Time to bring in the plants today.
Our school system doesn't make a lick of sense. School today, no school tues. and wen. (fall break) and then back to school Thurs. and Fri. Just stupid if you ask me. I could have seen it if they let out the end of the week but why in the middle of a week?
As soon as I can get moving I have to clean house today, I've really let it go over the weekend.

After a terribly painful weekend, my legs finally felt a little better this morning. Then...I drove to see my shrink...ouch...then drove 40 minutes for a dental appt.. I was tailgated on windy roads by a truck. By the time I got there my sciatic leg was killing me and I was so tense from the trip that I hobbled in....more ouch.
I checked in and was told to take a seat (not likely) then they asked me how I spelled my name. This couldn't be good...nope, I was a month early for my appt!
Another 40 Minutes in the car, fighting sleep, and now I am truly wrecked. I don't see myself doing any more than feeding my zoo for the rest of the night.
Peep...
I slept until 10:30. Made myself get up because I needed shower shampoo and blow dry. We checked out of our nice airport hotel and are at the resort.
All I can say is Wow! For $70 total 4 nights here is a bargin. Course we must listen to a vacation club presentation .
The decor is super modern with wood floors and clean lines.
A deep soaking tub and the water comes from the ceiling above tub.
I am not kidding. At first I thought they forgot the spigot then we looked up
and there was a little hole above tub. I turned the water on and out it came from the ceiling.
All kinds of activities each day. Husband is doing wine tasting today. I am lazy and lounging in a chaise outside on our balcony.
Wish all the hens were here in Florida with me.

I'm fixing Salisbury steaks and mashed potatoes for supper and then clean up in time for some football tonight:)

I really didn't have an agenda for today. I thought that I would blow off work and catch up with all I recorded on TV........no such luck. We got a bit of a cold front and realised that DH didn't have long sleeve work shirts, so I was ironing today. He is leaving for the ranch, I think on Wednesday, and going to a book signing about the county and our ranch is mentioned in it. So of course I had to iron a nice shirt for him. Normally there would always be one available but I've slacked off a bit. Not feeling the same pleasure I used to have ironing. It hurts my back now.......I guess it's the leaning over, I don't know for sure.
Dix, that is odd about the school thing. You would think that Columbus Day would be the holiday. The whole system does sound strange. Thank goodness I am not dealing with that anymore.
Oh goodness, Cherry......a month early for your appt. So sorry. You must have been pissed. But look at how punctural you are. :-)
Hippy, I hope you are enjoying FL. Sounds like you are. Would love to be there. You are a better wife than I...............I would much rather have my own wine tasting here at home. lol.

Hippy enjoy even with the presentation, you'll have a nice time. So shower in the tub, I guess if you don't want the overhead spray you wait.
