This is getting ridiculous. It's not like I slept during the day. I was working in the morning and again in the evening. Noise from renovations in my former salon would have kept me up even if I'd felt sleepy in the afternoon.
I feel like I'm running on empty...barely coasting through my days. I'm seeing the other doc in my clinic this afternoon. I'm anxious to meet her to see if I might want to make a switch. The doc I've been seeing for the past few years is doing nothing to help me. If anything, her methods have made me worse.

Its always worth changing doctors, they do vary, different opinions and all that...
I've been wanting a new doc for quite a while, but can't figure out who to switch to. We have quite a shortage in this area and I'm afraid to take a chance that the next one might cut my meds out. The doc I'm seeing today is in the same clinic so she may be the one...we'll see.

I believe I've joined your owl club. Last month I've been taken off of the thyroid meds and last night again I woke every single hour and had trouble falling back each time. I was up at 2 am eating pizza with my teen and chatting up a storm with him, writing lists, cleaning up, before he sent me upstairs. I am so wired and I've lost 5 lbs in a week. Feel like the friggen energizer bunny wired on steroids and strong coffee right now, but my eyes and head are burning.

Janie...this doctor has been treating my pain for about 4 years. Without success, I might add. My digestion is so wrecked at this point that I've developed white, yeasty stuff on my tongue recently. My Naturopath is starting to treat my digestive stuff, but I think I need my doc (or this new one) to also figure out how to help me. My alternative doc says that the reason my meds aren't managing my pain is because I'm not digesting them properly. This would be why removing my patch caused me to go into such a horrible state...it's probably the only med that's doing anything because it bypasses the digestive system.
I've been telling my doc how bad my stomach is for over a year and she blows it off as something that goes with the pain med territory! Grrrr...
I take "align" Really help regulate my system. yours sounds more then just simple irregularity And that is hard to find why.
Years ago I was having gurguly upset tummy everyday and all the Dr did was give me Mylanta. Finally they did expository surgery and found nothing. Eventually it went away, but comes back once and awhile, not fun.
Sorry you are going through all this.
BTW I change my hair style, but they are supple changes. I have a 60 year old friend and she still has her mullet, now it is grey!
