Its like this grand race, winner takes all and the celebrations are just wonderful. Freedom of speech and all.
Idiot of the day was some fellow on the losing team. 15 minutes after they 'projected' the winner was Obama, they asked the other side what they thought what had gone wrong, and some fellow (a very senior person) had said (I paraphrase) 'it just goes to show you about the american people about how a black President can be elected for two terms in a row' . This is why he thought they lost?!?!?! I sat there in shock. Did he really bring up a race card?!? I mean, my God, really?! give a man enough rope and he will hang himself.
I'm looking in the field of cheering people and they were Americans and there were no blacks at the back of the bus and whites at the front. In fact, I was hard pressed to segregate any special race in that crowd. And, does this guy think that people of darker skin colour have special brains that are really so stupid and shallow that they base their vote strickly on Obama's skin colour?! REALLY?! Maybe stupid insulting comments like that is what lost them some votes.
Very entertaining when people are excited and unedited.

Good morning.81 and climbing this afternoon. Joanne I hope you and Mario had a lovely wedding anniversary! Sounds like a very worthwhile treat :-)There was just the 4 of us at ours at Bromley registry office. Yeah if there's a huge fire all crew at fire stations in the area and outside the area if needed will be called in to help. Doug and I bought a walking treadmill. I did 45 minutes...
As a country we still have some racist people. It is sad because we are becoming a melting pot and many can't accept that. I have never seen myself as entitled to privileges because of my skin color.
I don't see how anyone can deny that. I am not saying it is the majority of people who voted for him but whenever someone in the crowd is interviewed on camera all they have to say is that he is the First Black President. He is our Black President.....they say! Folks that had never, ever voted before.
Ask any one of them what he has done for this Country or what he plans to do............and I bet you would not get an intelligent answer. They don't care. Well, maybe they do care......because Obama Care means free stuff.
Romney was not going to cut the current medicare / medicaid for the people already on it; however, it was in the paper today showing the cuts that Obama has approved for medicare. There will be less coverage, and the doctors will be receiving less monies for their services. We will be paying for all of that free Obama stuff with higher taxes.
Obama kept repeating lies until people believed it. This was Hitler's tactics with his propaganda.
All we can do is pray now. Don't misunderstand me, Romney kept putting his foot in his mouth. I really wonder if he intentionally blew the elections.
I am glad the elections are over, Now we can move on. Hopefully next election we might have some decent candidates. We can always dream!
