It's kind of quiet in the coop this morning. What are all my favorite hens doing?
I didn't have to work so I gave my Mom a thrill and took her to Dollar General with me. I need to do things like that more often since it's such a big deal to her. I had a $5 off coupon and needed paper products and a few other things. Mom just likes to poke around and hang out with me. I didn't think I was that much fun...go figure.
We have quite a storm on the way and the wind is already howling. I have everything I need and I'm in for the rest of the day.

I need to get a job next, but i need to get a little stronger inside, still not feeling very well.
Its been a beautiful day here, sunshine all day, we had a bbq in the garden.

I went to the sale barn today. They use to sell the chickens first but now they have changed it. They sell the goats first and they had a slew of goats to auction off. i didn't stick around. I was already getting a headache. Now I have one that borders Migraine.

dixie, very sorry and hoping you get relief soon.
i've really been in a horrible, mucky hole since i came back. today, i hope, the tide turned. since no one in my family can find time to help me, i took a cab to run errands since i needed some heavy stuff and couldn't deal with toting it all on the bus. the driver was soooo nice he actually carried my bags all the way up to my apt. then the cable guy came and gave me the nice box and got it all set up. i tried to give him a bracelet for his wife, but he wouldn't accept.
my pain is still nutty, but my heart is sure lighter from the kindness of strangers and not-so-strangers here!!
Cherry that is great you got out with your Mom. Of course she enjoys it! Glad you got it done before your storm.I hope the weather doesn't change and bring you misery. We had a knock down drag out thunder storm last night pass through and drop our temps about 15-20 degrees.
Shame on the sale barn Dixie. I bet that nasty old goat smell started your headache off. I hope by now you are feeling better and that it didn't go into a migraine. Did you get our storm?
Serenity I love it when there is some kindness in the world. It sure can put a smile on my face. Hope the pain lets up.
Empathy bravo for son. He did a good interview and now he has a job for his birthday!!! Seems yesterday he had interviews. Good for you to get the strength you need before you start. BarBQue sounds nice. Making me hungry.
