Anyone have plans for the weekend?
I don't really. I might plan a meal and have someone over. I was also thinking to maybe teach my boys to play rook... My favorite card game:)
Today I have to clean my floors, a big job for a bad back!

88FWhat I do like is early morning clouds and then they disappear and the sun comes out. That was it's cooler in the morning. I'm sitting here looking out the window at the hummingbird with the river and dike as a back drop. It's hard to invision ever leaving but I'm also a realist with aging, especially when the luncheon we had with thirty former classmates on Monday. Sandra, we get news of...

Sometimes i decorate my clothes with fabric paint!
I finally got to where I could get a woodfire going and eventually had to push the snow from my entryway with a shovel. This is going to be a very painful Winter.
I spent two hours on Mom's hair. We had a color/cut/set scheduled and there was no way I was going to let her know how much I was hurting. So...I got through it and she looks great to go have lunch out with frinds! I have an hour before another color/cut/style arrives and then my Grandaughter is coming for a school dance hairdo!
I have to spread my work out so I'm doing a perm tomorrow morning and a color Sunday morning. I never seem to have my kitchen and livingroom to myself, anymore. It keeps me from starting cooking projects because I have to be prepared to clean everything up right away. It's also keeping me from eating decent meals...yogurt is a meal, right?
I think I'm rambling now...enough. Clucks to all my hens!
Have a few Christmas activities this weekend. Tree lighting in town tonight, in the rain! Have to serve breakfast for the breakfast with Santa tomorrow . Should be fun with a broken wing!
rook! wow i haven't played that for years. I forget how, but bro and i use to play it alot.
Raining here and expecting floods, we'll see. We had one in 1997 and that was bad as we were house bound.
Good luck with the meeting Seren and you guys with snow, have fun! a wood fire is what we have here Cherry and i have the hardest time starting it. On nice days in the winter I try and get it going at 3pm as our sun sets here at 3. we are against the foothills so it gets dark early. Dark and cold.
I have a ton of sea shells, so if you find out what to do with them let me know Em.
Well back to the other tab on my computer and work.
Hugs and have a great weekend
