I'm talking about staying in one position too long by sleeping all night. I was so afraid I'd do that again that I set my alarm for 3:00.
Apparently I didn't need to. I couldn't get to sleep last night and when I finally did, it didn't last long. It's 1:30 and this is the second time I've gotten up. I even made coffee this time. I guess I'd rather work in a state of exhaustion than the amount of pain I had yesterday.
By the time Thanksgiving arrives, I will have worked 8 days in a row. Thank goodness I know better than to book full days, but even 8 half days is a challenge. Sigh...I'll manage.

I've taken a sleeping pill a few hours ago and I'm not the least bit tired. Damn hyperthyroidism . I'm wired like an energizer bunny but tomorrow morning it will feel like I haven't slept at all.

I'm sorry you're having such a rough time of it. If the sleeping pills keep you awake, is there any chance that coffee might do the opposite?
enigma, i hope you can sleep better, too. have you tried melatonin?
i've been taking nyquil with this cold, which knocks me out for a few hours, then i'm wide awake...luckily, i've been able to get a few more morning hours, but i know you both can't.
