I purchased Eden Pure (large size) a few years ago. The unit is expensive, but it is excellent! I live in upstate NY and we warm our house with oil. In spring and fall I turn on the unit in the morning for a few hours. This morning my thermostat went from 69 degrees to 74 degrees in about an hour. I know it is saving us alot of money on oil. Unfortunately we have to use our oil furnace in the winter because we do not want our pipes to freeze (they are under our house). Although the unit is kind of expensive, it is well worth it. I have mine about 4 years and never have a problem with it.

okay, okay, its not heating the house!! But oh boy, my son and I used to fight over them every night and now we take turns.

Seriously though, companies that sell a variety of heating systems will tell you which ones are the best. Plus, I'm not sure about your Hydro provider (if that is what you call them there), but ours will tell you which is the most energy smart for your home.
