Morning Buddies
Its 12:30 am and I can't sleep, but it is friday on the west coast. I've got to go in 4 hours before I have to go to work and the game has totally changed for me. I'm feeling defeated and don't know how to deal with this one. I just don't have the political backstabbing cunning it takes to combat my adversaries and they are gathering in numbers every day. It's like I have this big ol target on my back and I had this one time before in my life so I know how this turns out for me. Doing a great job doesn't mean jack-all sometimes and life isn't fair.
I had botox today and doctor isn't happy that I'm not getting better results. He is switching me to another anti-seizure med to see if that will kick start something. I have these tiny bruises all over my neck and head from the needles this time.
Well, going to encase the head in ice and snuggle up to a chihuahua and try to sleep.

we had a big rain here last night which is helping and great to sleep to since i woke about 4 times. the boston news is really disturbing me since i went through 9/11 in nyc. i'm just watching a lot of videos. thank God one was caught.

I had one of those catch up on sleep nights. I could barely keep my eyes open for much of yesterday so I guess it was in order.
Angela....grrrrrrrr. I don't even know what to say about the work situation. As far as the doc not being happy about the botox not working...does he realize that you aren't exactly thrilled, either? I hope the med change gives you some relief. (try not to chill the Chihuahua with your ice)
Kim...you are on duty for someone all the time, it seems. You need to come to VT this Summer for a little escape!
Empathy...I like the sound of rain on my metal roof, but only if I'm already awake! Sleep is precious. Hope your appt. goes well.
Serenity...music is much better than the horrific news. I'm grateful to live far from any cities.

The dr. Found a few pollups and removed them. Nothing else thank goodness. Still don't know what is causing all her stomach pain.

I'm setting up job interviews and dealing the ex-husband who is being a total ass this morning. Kind of a pattern when I have Nick he chooses to be an ass by email, and I am so friggin tired of it, this is why I divorced him, don't I get a break?????
We've got sever tstorms coming in around 2 and my head is feeling it. Trying to get some work done before I have to go get Nick this evening because I don't get any done when he's here.
