Good morning and again...Happy Birthday, Kim!
I have an unexpected whole day off. Two weeks in a row, my regular Thursday morning lady has cancelled at the last minute. I've been way too easy on her for years and I'm feeling a little...taken advantage of. Oh well, that was all I had booked, but it requires the same amount of preparation as if I had a full day!
I was feeling more mobile this morning because it's the second day of my Fentanyl Patch so I was getting more done, more quickly than usual. Heather reminded me of the spoon theory...smart woman. Unfortunately, it was too late...I've used a setting for 10! Can I start using forks?
I have a million things I've wanted to get done and places to go, but I've managed to get my legs hurting too much to stand for long and my neck/shoulder in pain from starting and tending the damned woodfire.
Now...the only thing that is a definite in my day is PT at 1:00. What are your plans?

A funny tidbit.
My exhusband stopped by yesterday and showed me his new tattoo. His fifth in a month!!! (he's never had tatoos before. An really nice ones too. I asked him how much they were costing and he said nothing with a big smile on his face. I said, OMG, you are dating the tattoo artist!. He was grinning ear to ear. He hasn't dated anyone since we split up 14 years ago. Too funny. Good thing the new girlfriend lives a plane ride away or he'd be covered in no time. Glad he's happy.
cherry: I am sorry you are in so much pain. We tend to overdo it whenever we feel better because those good times are so few and far between. I do the same thing. Whenever I am having a "good" day, I FEEL like I can accomplish alot, so I dive right in, only to find that a short time later, my body is shutting down and I end up in a tremendous amounf of pain. I is usuall worth it to me though because just getting something accomplished is a good feeling, even if I have to pay the price for it later. Get your rest...hope you feel better soon!
Enigma: such a cute story about your ex. It sounds like you have a good relationship with him. That is very nice to hear as some ex's have a hard time being civil to one another.
I managed to bake some banana bread yesterday. (yay!) As for today, I need to finish up my Christmas cards. I addressed all the envelopes yesterday, however, need to sign the cards themselves. We are giving Harry London chocolates this Sunday when we go to my Stepmother's, however, I want to give her something special so I decided to make one of my decorative boxes. I need to get the box painted today, then I will embellish it either later today or tomorrow.
Incidentally, I recently did a Craft show. It was my first time doing one in years. I sold over half of my boxes and a few other things, so overall, not a bad day at all. I already have ideas to make my crafts even bigger and better next year so I am looking forward to it. It is so rewarding when someone buys an item that you have crafted, plus they are getting an original, one of a kind item. The highlight of my day is when 2 young girls (both 12 yrs) came to my table and were so excited to buy one of my ornaments to give as gifts. One girl bought for her Mother and the other bought for her Grandmother. A little later, the Mother of one of the girls stopped by my table to tell me how excited the girls were about their purchases and that they didn't want to wait to give them as gifts....they wanted to give them that day! Anyway, that put a smile on my face and it made me feel good that I was able to help these 2 young girls with their Christmas shopping.

I sent one kid off to school this morning and still have one at home. He's doing better but has a stomach issue that he is afraid to go to school with;)
No plans here today....may run to town for some milk, I always seem to be out of something lately.
