Yea for you, hope your feeling better. I remember those day of waiting up I did not like them going out! I wasn't as protective or afraid they'd get in to trouble as i hated staying up for them. That is why i dreaded them going out!
Snowing now and due out for dinner. Just down town here in our small town. Should be ok but the place is very small and if all the town is there too much for me. I am not good at small talk and my hubby is a big time BS er.
Though he is genuine in his interest in others. Oh well i'll grin and bare it!
Busy day shopping and bbsitting, so now at 3:30 just enjoying the peace and quite. I just called hubby and asked when he'd be home and he acts like i miss him and says "soon". It is not missing him it is how much longer do I have alone!

Agree with both of you on large crowds. Yes on the listening. People love it when you listen. My way of engaging in a conversation is asking a question. Then I listen. I can tell by the way someone is dressed what their interest is. Shoes tell a story too. So one question and I sit back and listen. My husband knows my limitations in a group gathering and is always willing to wrap the evening up early.

Dixie 11:00 sounds like an eternity. I know you and I have that magic hour of 9pm. Maybe it won't be so bad since you got wee nap this morning.

We had a contractor here most of the afternoon working on the storm damage. I did some laundry and little else.

I've had a miserable day of pain. I put the new patch on this morning and by late afternoon there was a hint of relief...or at least I tried to imagine there was. Then the fatigue hit and I slept from around 7:30 to 9:00. Wicked neck pain woke me up.

I know what too many hours in bed does to me so I'm drinking some coffee. Of course I also just took my Trazodone so I figure they'll cancel each other out! It's an interesting test, anyway.

My youngest Son stopped in so I put him to work for a while. He brought in a fair amount of firewood and managed to chop through the snow that was pure ice this morning. My entryway is once again clear.

I took my last pain med several hours ago and right now.....I feel like calling my PT just to keep her up, too! I am so much worse since seeing her yesterday!!!

I've been up for an hour so maybe I'll crawl back into bed and see what happens.

Cherry I think letting the PT know your worse is a must. That was nice of your son to help with the wood. I sure to hope you get some well needed pain relieve. How about a warm bath with epson salts and candles that sounds good to me. I wish I had a tub downstairs.
