mother and i made it to my sister's and will just have a low key weekend. making a big pot of soup. i'm sure i didn't bring enough warm clothes, so we may end up at the thrift store or just shopping in sister's closet :)

Weekly shop for me this morning, this afternoon i got out all the presents, you know when you go through everything youve got so far and hope you have everything and youve not forgotten anything and whats left to get....then i pu it all away again lol
saturday we are off to the market, see what we can find : )

Thank you all for the nice welcome back. All want is to just get my computer fixed and I don't want a new one but Hubby won't hear of it. :-) He said it was getting old and wanted to buy me a new one for my B-day or he would give me his and he would get a new one. Either way I don't care. I just dread having to load everything on a new one. I just keep making excuses about going shopping for one. He has gone to Staples a few times and since Black Friday they didn't have much in stock.
Dixie, hope you enjoyed your Hobby Lobby shopping....I love that place. Praying that Mom had good results from the Dr. visit.
Seren, I have been wanting to make a big pot of soup but when we think about it the temps here rise from the 40's to 80's in two days. The last time I made chili I had to laugh because it was 85 outside. Hope you found some warm clothes. Where does your sister live?
Empathy, I am always counting who is getting what. I write it all down to see if everyone is getting equal and know one ever notices so why do I worry so much about it. And every year I swear I am not going to do that again. And I also swear I am not going to spend so much. These kids get sooooo much from parents and grands it's rediculous. Sometimes I think they enjoy unwrapping more than getting a gift. MMMMM, I think I might be wrong about that. lol
