Morning Hens,
It's raining here. My son got his garden planted just in time yesterday. It's suppose to rain for the next 4 days. He planted purple hull peas and okra to sell. He already has some pre orders:)
Yesterday I spent most of the day watching videos on mixed media art. The one that fascinated me the most was using metal and flowers to create a picture frame. It was really beautiful. I'm collecting metal objects now so I can make one. Planning a trip to the thrift store today:) it will probably take me a while to collect enough metal objects to do this project.
Also have to go purchase a weedeater....guess there is no real hurry for that though since we are getting rain for the next 4 days.

Yesterday was a wonderful day and today I am dealing with a bit more pain and not enough sleep.
I am hoping to get a nap in this morning.
I am going later in the day to pick up my grand girls and they are spending the night with us... can't wait!!

i guess you're a bit ahead of us in getting the rain, but no hurry since it wants to stay and visit.
the frame sounds like a cool idea and a fun project. looking on youtube is a good idea.
yesterday, turned out much differently that i expected. we did go visit my dad and took him a steak which he'd been asking for. he's really out of it, but he was pleasant until he got tired. then we just did some errands together. my sister had me pick out some really cute sheets as a late b'day gift, so today i'll do laundry so i can get those on the bed. anything else will be a bonus. pain is low so far.

I am back from vacation with a very bad cold. I did my trip, but I am glad to be home, as I was constantly worried I was going to give the ladies I was with what I had. This is really a bad one, wouldn't you know. I suffer from asthma, and I was up high, so breathing was not going well. Where I was I found out had no hospital or doctor for miles, like two hours away. I think this taught me to be more prepared.
I came on here today, and no chat, I cannot even tell if there is a soul on. This makes me feel strange after all these years. Actually quite depressed, as I had people I chatted with for a long time. I know you are all feeling the same.
I came home to a sunny day, so that I must be thankful for.

Enjoy the granddaughters Cindi. I just love having my 3 year old grandson over, boy can he talk!
Love new sheets, Seren. I use to think they cost an arm and a leg, but Target has some really nice and soft ones. I did not want to leave the bed this morning.
Golfed yesterday, which was nice. Vet today and then clean little house (LH will now mean little house) as we have a friend come and stay for two nights, yuck. We tried to hint we had no bed and only one bath, but no he's coming with an air bed:(...
Graduation party tomorrow, so he'll be on his one for the afternoon early evening. He likes to talk but i learned to get up and go to bed when it got too late! In the LH i'll hear him thought, darn!
