Basic sugar scrub
1 c. sugar
enough of one of the following oils to make it moist.
Olive oil, peanut oil, sunflower oil
Olive is best.
I would also suggest, if your not going to purchase a antibacterial agent, to add some Vit. E oil...this will help. Be especially careful not to get the sugar scrub wet with water. Use dry hands when scooping our a spoon. When the sugar comes into contact with water it will start to grow bacteria.
For a more gentle sugar scrub you can use super fine sugar.....this is my favorite.
I also add scents to mine. Hobby Lobby does have a few scents you can purchase, or you can order some here: www.saveonscents.com
You can add other ingredients such as honey and even fruits....for single use. Don't try to save and store sugar scrubs made with fruit.
You can also make your own lip balms. A little coconut oil with a touch of honey for sweetener.
Perfumes: Coconut oil and a touch of OO with a fragrance of your choice.
These recipes of course are with grocery store oils.
If your intrested in purchasing oils like Jojoba oil or Sweet almond, cocoa butter, shea butter ect. PM me for a list of wholesalers where you can buy these specialty oils at.
For those who want a more serious....preserved type sugar scrub....PM me. I wouldn't bother unless you are going to make these outside of the family. Just remember not to let water come in contact with your sugar scrub and it will be fine.

You might also try running your sugar through a blender for a few min.
Another sugar that can be used is brown sugar.....which goes really well with cocoa butter ....gives it a sweet nutty buttery scent. If you have cocoa butter.
