It's so good to see buttercups start blooming...the promise of spring soon to arrive:) I just love their fragrance too. I just wish they were strong enough to smell throughout the house.
I guess you could say I am spring cleaning. I got a bug to get my house not only clean but organized. Between fibromyalgia pain and watching my grand baby all the time, along with daily chores my house is looking really bad from lack of attention. I got my bathroom cleaned spotlessly on Monday. Yesterday I cleaned out three cabinets and one drawer in my kitchen. I figure baby steps is better than nothing at all. Who else spring cleans?
Today I am hoping to work on my linen closet.....which isn't just a linen closet....it holds everything under the sun lol.
Hope to see everyone come back to the hen house. I've missed you girls and I am going to try to post more often.
Hugs and love

Now that you mentioned Buttercup's; I really can't remember the last one's that I've seen. :-( I am going to try and pay more attention as they are so pretty.
Our flower here in TX is a Bluebonnet and they are everywhere. Such a beautiful flower, and they do grow wild.
I am also an organizer...can not stand anything out of place. I would rather organize than dust. :-) But of course....eventually.....that has to be done as well. And moving into the new house and after making a big mistake of having dark wood floor's, I am constantly dust mopping.
Isn't such a great feeling getting everything in place where it needs to be? I love it.
Hugs,
Carly
Here is the thing....my stuff seems to grow stuff. How does that happen? I just have to keep at it.
Dixie it sounds like you have a good start. A room at a time. Love the buttercups. They sort of have an earth smell. My favorite spring bloom is the lilac. They are a mess but the smell is heavenly.
Carly I know what you mean about the dark hardwood floors. Mine are light but I still wish for dark and yes I know they show ever speck of dirt and dust. My hubby was against dark.
Best wishes to all for a great day.
