I found this recipe in an old cook book and it's my family's favorite of the different banana breads I've tried. I can't follow a recipe exactly as it's written so this includes my tweaks.
2 cups wheat flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup canola oil
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 cup mashed ripe bananas
1 tsp. vanilla or almond extract
1 cup quick oats..stir this in last
chopped nuts and/or chopped dates are a great addition!
Bake at 350...can't give you an exact time because I often make several small loaves and a big one when I make a double batch!

88FWhat I do like is early morning clouds and then they disappear and the sun comes out. That was it's cooler in the morning.
