This Group is for Hens only. A place where we can share and flock together:) May friendships grow here.
It is suppose to be in the 90's here in Ohio, however, we might take the kids to the lake during the morning hours on Sunday or Monday since they are most anxious to kick off their summer with a little bit of swimming.
We are also going to grill out my favorite (boneless chicken breast) which will be accompanied by some (hopefully sweet) corn on the cob.

After a hot, sunny week, it's kind of gloomy out this morning. I don' really mind...it gives an excuse to either clean my floors that look suspiciously like livestock came through...or loll around and not amount to anything. It's rare for me to have nothing booked on a Saturday morning, but probably just what my body needs.
I'm doing a color/cut on Sunday so I might just take advantage of today's peace and quiet and...eh, to hell with the floors. I guess I talked myself out of that quickly. All it took was this bit of typing to realize that I'm in needof a break.
We might have to have a party in the hen house for those of us with nothing to do!

we do have fresh corn here. it's so good on the grill, but just in case i bought myself a few cobs.
