What is on your Agenda for today?
I have to make a trip to town, then I am going to work with my son to build me a chicken sign. "Fresh Eggs for Sale"
I have to do this because I am getting too many eggs now. And my neighbor that I was giving a lot of eggs to, well, they are now getting eggs from our other neighbor as well. My neighbor two houses down decided to get chickens as well and he wants to share his :) One thing for sure, no one on our road is going to go without eggs!!
So I thought I would put up a sign at the end of the road and maybe I can sell some. Hey a buck fifty will buy me a spool of yarn! :) And I love to crochet :)
Other than that, now that my husband is gone, I have to clean house. When he comes home, I don't know how he does it, but this house turns into a tornado!

more dishes backed up, after the storms it's less humid and cooler, so i could actually enjoy reading on my balcony, general tidying and i have no husband - just a couple of days and poof. i found my dust ruffle, so i'll see if i can manage to get that on alone. 3 more days til "payday" and being able to buy supplies. hopefully, enough energy to go to church picnic at 6...

Sounds like this is being a productive day for everyone.
This is the first day of my kid's summer break and they are anxious to go. I wasn't sure if my body would cooperate. I can only stand for approx. 10 minutes at a time, so by the time I put my make-up on, my back was literally screaming at me. I knew I couldn't even think about getting into the car until my back calmed down, so I am laying on the couch, getting a little rest before we attempt to walk out the door.
I love being in the water with my kids. It is therapeutic and is the ONLY physical activity I can do with them. Looking forward to going although I will suffer miserably later on. *sigh*
