That was the description used by the PT I just got in to see on an emergency basis. I had my regular appt. yesterday and when she worked on my neck, the pain was so horrible I wanted to smack her.

She told me she was able to get in deep enough to reach bone...finally. Let me tell you...I wish she hadn't. I was up most of the night and it's been almost 24 hours since that appt. and it's been getting worse. So I called the clinic to see if she was in...of course not. But I was glad to get 15 minutes with the PT who owns the place. I always used to see him, but he's a little more aggressive than the woman I've been seeing.

He immediately found that my thoracic spine is completely immobile. I think he moved it a little too much, but he said it still didn't move even after he squeezed me until it crunched...owowowowow. He was really concerned about the shape I'm in and the decline since he had last seen me.

Anyway...I'm really in pain from his maneuvers, but I trust him. I'm supposed to do 3 minutes of heat and then 1 minute of ice...and back and forth. I really don't know what to do next...well, besides that. I'm so discouraged with my spine and pain and trying to work...and cook!

I'm going into the heat and ice hole for a while. Thanks for letting me whine.
