I wanted to apologize that I haven't posted much these last few days. I have been very tired and have had a few really rough days with the pain. In fact, I am heading to bed right now to see if I can get come rest. I just wanted to let everyone know that while I have been "silent" lately, I DO read each and every post and my thoughts and prayers are always with you.

I would like to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to all of you "hens" for making me feel so welcome here. I have yet to post my "story", however, I have looked for a group like this for quite awhile and was unsuccessful until now. You are a bunch of very warm, caring, passionate women and I appreciate all that you do.

Hi Carrie,

With this wonderful group you never have to apologize for time taken to care for yourself. We are all here for each other, to contribute when we can and to receive support when needed.

Not that I am a communist, but the slogan "From each according to his ability; to each according to his need" fits here, I think.

Carrie,

I have enjoyed your clucks and I am sorry you are having a lot of pain right now. As It has been said many times there may be a peep or even silence. In silence another hen just pulls you under their wing and keeps you close. We are always here and wishing you better days.

A sincere Thank you to everyone here! Thank you for your messages of support, I really appreciate it! I got some much needed rest and woke up around 9pm and spent some time with my kids before they headed to bed. Hubby is in bed now too, so it is just me now. My back is still tender so I am staying put on the couch and will probably play my Harvest Moon game here in a bit. lol I went to my son's band concert on Wednesday night and his Awards Ceremony (for grades) on Thursday night, and as you can imagine, it was just too much for me. My back is still recovering, however, I will suffer through anything as long as I can be there to support my kids. As you can tell, this is one proud Mother Hen! (cluck, cluck)
