Well I am sitting in The next town over waiting for my granddaughter. My dil was suppose to be here at 7:10 and she just texted me that she is just now leaving home. It takes 20 min. From her house to here. Grrrrr rr guess I will sit here and burn up gas. I'll have to stop and get gas now for sure. I was hoping to avoid it. For some reason I just hate pumping gas.

i'm pretty much spent from yesterday's cooking and cleaning and phone calls...too much for a day. i woke up in the wee hours and was able to watch the blue moon until it set. i'll need to get a nap in, but i also need to get to the store for a few things for the weekend. i discovered weevils in my baking goods, so had to throw all that out. i also need salad supplies.
Sorry to hear you are stuck too Serenity. I'm feeling less stuck day by day with effort. We have a 3 day long weekend and I have tonight and Monday planned for painting. Last night I sketched while I watch a Netflix of Madmen. I like that show. It is about 1959+ and the nostalga is awesome. Total sexism and I see where I learned my hesitancy and how far us women have come. We are not far from the Burkha's not long ago.

i just have a lot of projects i want to get to to release/reclaim that energy, but it all requires 2 people to help me since my body doesn't work so well.

Kim yikes on the wait!!! We were so cool in tempature this morning no A/C would be needed. I think tonight as well and then it is gone. Hot hot during the day. Serenity hate the weevils. All my dry goods go in containers. Still can happen though cause they can hatch after you buy and transfer. Gives me shivers. I still haven't caught up on the inspection thing and closet doors but assume trauma there and understand. Girl with mom and Mexico, Dad and the home I don't see how you are dealing. The only way is to step away........right. Sis gets on plan and flys so it is possible for you to take a mental vacation. Unplug. Turn off phone. Turn off your mind for at least four days.
Angela I watched and own all the Madmen series with exception to the last one. Started with first three or four when I had my accident and then two surgeries,, a different era for sure. I worked in that environment. A boss that wanted to take me to the Playboy Club for lunch. I was token female manager. A Joan. I fought for my equal pay. No sex. Kept those men in line. I knew my bosses wife. Made sure we were great friends. Bravo for back to art. You are so talented. Hope you squeeze some dancing in. Your guy from Cuba sounded delicious.
Today is 94 but breezy and not too bad in the shade. Our weather forecaster gives tonight and specifically 6AM as the appearance of the official Blue Moon. I have been watching the beautiful moon since night before last night. We will continue to have clear skies.
I have finally discovered how to use the NetFlix button on my remote. A whole new world of television. Little did I know that beside "Orange Is The New Black" there are other television series made just for NetFix. Best of all I have found my Foyle's War and other British shows I have missed.

Empathy, I realized Peter and whomever can think what they want. I'm going to be in charge of my life now. In the end, people don't change so I don't expect he will either because I sure am not.
Netflix is awesome. My TV is covered in dust. I'll have to watch some of those series you guys have mentioned. I just went through Grey's Anatomy series.

i like that idea of taking a break from it all. i did mostly today...just looked up recipes i want to make and creating some of my own in my mind.
i don't think i mentioned on here that one of mother's closest friends has stage 4 pancreatic cancer. mother spent a few hours with her and her family today. i think this is making her think twice about surgery.
