Morning Hens,
No baby today. I needed the break. I slept in til 9:00 this morning, til pain finally got me out of bed to take my meds.
I finally got a letter from my recruit:) he is not happy....which is to be expected. He is very tired ( lack of sleep)
He still has 9 weeks to go.
Not much is happening in my life...I get up and rush to go get my grand baby at 6:00a.m. Take her back by 3:45 then come home and crash...sleep til 7:30. Get up and eat a bite and then go back to bed. That's why I haven't been on here, I just haven't had time to pick up my iPad.
Serenity you asked what we planted in our garden....everything we could think of!! Including several rows of corn. It is a really big garden!
In case I don't get on tomorrow...HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to everyone! Dh is taking DIL and me out to a nice restaurant.
Thanks to Jacob I managed to get the house clean yesterday....then dh comes home and it looks like we did nothing!:(

this is a rush in and rush out. I haven't stopped all day, its almost 7 pm an we are about to watch a film.

I am finally sitting down. Two grandchildren overnight and the other two here with them all afternoon.
Grandfather just took them for pizza at our local pizza place and then will be dropping them off at parents .
Tomorrow no plans. Today I prepared baby back ribs, potato salad and baked beans for hubby and I for tomorrow's meal. Never eat out on special days. Too many and bad service. Used to go to Cracker Barrel for strawberry shortcake but they don't have it Mother's Day anymore. Seems to be too early.
We will have it at home. California strawberries very sweet.
