My baby is sick this morning, throwing up but no fever. It must be just a stomach bug. Her momma wants her to go to the Dr. So I will be taking her in about 1:00

sorry to hear that your baby is sick. there's nothing like grandma hugs to cure all that ails you. i hope it's just a quick bug. i hate to see little ones in pain.
mother is picking me up to visit my dad. this afternoon, so i want to pack up a goodie bag for him. i truly hate that he has to be in that place, but it's a constant job beyond 24/7 and i know it breaks her heart, too. so we'll brighten his day best we can.

over 6000 steps today which is 3.20 miles according to my pedometer!

I have work today and tons of exciting challenges. Yesterday they gave me$ 6,500 spending for my medical insurance. I'm so touched. Also, I did not get that other job but life has a way of working itself out and look what happened!. I'm also determined to take a vacation this year. I bought a swimsuit so I can go scuba diving and I've set my sights on Cuba. This is the year of Angela. Peter and I had a wonderful Sunday night and I think I've finally calmed down. Andrew gave me some good advise last week in regards to Peter. It was......(get this)......RELAX. lol

the visit was interesting and pretty good. to find out there was a flu outbreak on the unit when we arrived wasn't the best of news, so we had to wear masks and gloves. time with dad was good.even though he was a bit delusional. i did my investigative work and will have to file more complaints. he loved his milkshake and mother brought him valentine's chocolates.it goes better if we keep him distracted and in the past.
i'm drained, so sweet dreams, dear hens!

Hope you all love and enjoy the Valentines Day, no matter how you spend it. I had almost forgotten when he ask me.......Are you going to be ready for your Candy and Card on Sunday? I so love this. He remembered!! It's always been our thing.
