wow, dixie, you're up early today! you never told us how your day with grandbaby was or what you've been up to. so how are you?

i'm glad you got the Rix. i've had two jobs where we had to keep it on hand and that's what we used.

the chili turned out great. i was going to make cornbread and i had no cornmeal...not even a mix. i gave some to claire and charlie. tina didn't want any as a migraine was making her woozy and she just needed to lie down.

hippy, i'm with dixie about getting some help.

janie, i'm very sorry for your loss. again i ditto all that dixie says. if it will help, please share and reminisce as much as you want or let us know how we can help you. i wish i could come sit with you and make some nice tea.

i'm really hoping to get to publix today. i'm afraid i'm fighting off another bug. my throat is sore and my energy is lower than usual, but i really need my meds and a few things from there. i went through the sale flyer yesterday. their online site even gives you the aisle the items are on, so that makes it much easier since it's huge.

Dix, you can get rid of lice with just conditioner, its what i did with my son, but you must re do it as the nits grow. My son had them a couple of times, he used to love seeing them on the nit comb ! lol
3 year olds can be such a handful, glad she's good for you : )

my mother has realized when i say i'm sick i'm really down for the count and is coming to pick me up to go to publix. i just can't seem to find the words for people who don't understand pain, but she's picking up on my clues.
i honestly can't believe she's doing this, but with reluctance i accepted. i really need to get over that! it's not a character flaw to accept help or to ask for it...note to self.

I am bringing up the rear so to speak. I always do. Just had my supper of childhood. Eggs in a basket. Use a shot glass to punch a hole in middle of bread, put quite a lot of butter pats in skillet add bread and little circles you punched out. Break an egg in each punched out hole. I do mine over easy. Quite good.
Hubby will be our eight year old granddaughters date tomorrow night for father daughter dance. Her daddy is sick. He has ordered a wristlet (like a corsage) and a boutonnière for himself. DIL says he is a better date than dad because dad doesn't buy her the flowers.

Kim I bet you have everything clean and shiny now. Even hair. No more scratching. Fingers crossed it will be the end for baby girl as well. I miss the threes. Lots of lap time and they needed me more. Kylie still sleeps with me when she spends the night but she doesn't reach out to make sure I am in bed. She even shampoos her own hair now. That started in September.

Serenity so glad your mommy heard your pain and came to rescue. Asking is something that comes as with age. Trust me. I am with Empathy remember Note to Self. Good for you on the call to doctor's office. I am missing a piece of puzzle in regards to him not calling back and more tests.

Empathy I believe you are fully charged today. Facial sounds very good for you. I used to love the peel off kind. Now my old skin must have the creamy kind. Males are that way with laundry. Just when you think it is over it isn't. Enjoy as I know you do. It is possible one day another female may do his laundry. You never know because my youngest son does laundry, cooks and cleans at his home. Wife does have cardiomyopathy as does our oldest granddaughter. It is genetic .
