dixie, good luck with the errands. i hope you feel like crafting, too.

without getting up i wore myself out yesterday making phone calls upon phone calls. 2 dr appts set up - x-ray for my leg and mammo, phone checked out, mother and dad - he fell yesterday being disoriented in him new room. he was way out of reality, so it was hard to tell if he had a concussion or not.

today i'm getting busy in the kitchen and dealing with these boxes i brought from mother's. this stuff has to go somewhere. and i have some good fruit and veggies to make something with.

You'll never guess what i'm watching... The yellow brick road, lol!
Been out this morning to the shops, got a few bits, but not everything i wanted.
Ive since been out in the garden and painted the garden bench (i mucked it up last time) Its looking much better now : ) While i painted the sun was shining on my back.. lovely...!
Watch out the wicked witch has just turned up , classic : )

Dix, enjoy your crafting, i saw a nice note book while i was out, it had on the front "Most used recipes" and inside it had tabs "Starters" "Desserts" etc and i thought of your nice journals and that i could have a go at making something similar.

Seren, Glad you are getting an x ray for your leg, best to be on the safe side. Sorry to hear about your dad, hope he's ok.

Carly, what did you decide about your therapist? Did you go back? I always regretted not saying how i truly felt, i wouldnt want you to have the same regret.

Hi everyone!

I'm just waiting for the washing machine to finish so I can dry them and put the sheets back on the bed before Dh gets home. It really messing up my days when he leaves at odd times and comes home at odd times. He left Wed night so all evening I thought it was Thursday. Now today I'm thinking it's Sunday. But I did get the good news that we have a new calf.

I also washed a load of jeans. Does anyone else wipe out the machine after they wash jeans? If you don't you should try it. You wouldn't believe how much blue dye comes out on the rag and not on your next load of laundry.

Dixie, I hope you were able to get some crafting done and the calves are enjoying the sweet feed.

seren, so sorry about your Dad falling. I hope he didn't have a consussion. Good luck with the x-ray on your leg and your mammo. Hope you found a place for all the stuff in the boxes. I am running out of space because my Mom keeps giving me stuff I really don't need but I always have to act happy to get it. I need to start passing it on to my girls. She gave me my grandmother's china and most of it is still in the box. I did find a place for the serving pieces

Yes, I'm a dollar store gal as well. At Christmas it is so nice to get gift bags and wrapping paper for just a dollar!!

Empathy, sounds like a really good find on the notebook for recipes.

I definately didn't go back. Dh wants me to let it go and just move on to someone else. I feel that since I didn't say anything at the time that my complaint would be in question. I'm still thinking about what to do. And I do regret not saying anything.

I hope the garden bench turned out lovely. How nice to have the sun shining on your back while painting.
