Empathy do you have a hot glue gun? Have you tried that on your bird house? I need a birdhouse to put in my front yard. I'm afraid a log cabin one would not show up though as I have too much shade. I would have to have something bright. Anyway, I hope you get it figured out and put together.

Carly men are so darn stubborn and aggravating...they are a hopeless cause!!! Lol let him do it the hard way first then you can come in to the rescue:).
Did you fry the okra? I love it fried! And I love black eyed peas! I can understand your dh's excitement :)

Yes i do have a hot glue gun, but last time i used it was when i stuck some decorative glass stones on terracotta pots that i put in the garden, when it rained they fell off! Could be that the glue was cheap and nasty or its not suitable for wet weather or some other reason.
The problem i'm having is that the small branches are round and obviously not perfectly straight, so not much surface area for the glue in places and the roof of my house is curved, but i'm not giving up!
I woke with a head ache and i feel a bit sick so i'm not doing much.
