i'm out of sorts today. not enough or good enough sleep, so i'll have to get a nap in today. no one showed for the inspection. i never got out waiting, but i'll just go today. i'm going to mop first, then get a few things before thunderstorms.
carly, good luck. i hope you'll find something that works for you. empathy, i feel like i'm on a merry go round at times.
good day to all!
Empathy in answer to your question, yes life if better for having gotten rid of that last job. I still hear horror stories and don't give it a second thought because I'm in a better place and have moved on.
I'm in a bit of a daze today after finding out that Robin Williams took his own life. One of my favorite artists because he has emotional depth under all the comedy. It is really ironic for me because I am writing a screenplay about a fictional 19 year old who moves to a big city and she battles with depression but uses what her ancesotors taught her instead of getting medical help because where she is from, there are no medical doctors. I feed upon my own experiences with suicidal thoughts over the years and how I found to cope.
The story is not all about depression, but it does touch upon it as a character development. I read all these comments about Robin Williams and the ignorance of people about what depression is and how they think that suicide is like going to the grocery and choosing a brand. "Today I will chose death upon myself". People just don't realize how lost a soul gets to reach that point. They call people 'selfish' when, in effect, to do so makes the person saying that as selfish. Death is so final and against all instincts and to lose that is so devastating to a soul.
It is so important to have a good look around and appreciate what you have in your life. That cracked tea pot is better than no pot, because that pot works and delivers memories. You bought it with money you earned, feet that carried you to the store of your choice and you got to pick it our. Or maybe it was a gift from someone who loves you. You poured many a tea for people who you love, including yourself. Your home vibrates with the life of love. And when you step out into the sun or rain, there are birds and plants and animals waiting to delight you with their gifts. This is what a suicidal person no longer sees. This is what we must see everyday and never lose sight of.
That is my thought of the day
my neighbor came by and said, but he had everything, he had no reason...oh my. i explained, but i still don't think she got it.
your screenplay sounds interesting.
