Morning Hens
Woke in so much pain this morning, sure hope the day gets better. Have to take one of Jacob's friends to church at 9:30 to meet his parents....what a joke that is!!! He had to spend an extra night because they wouldn't come get him.....they were suppose to pick him up sat. At his brothers baseball game but it got cancelled because of the rain so they were not going to be bothered with coming to get him. They make me sick. This is the mother that is trying to get the father to take the kid because she doesn't want him any more...and the father won't take him either. The kid is a good kid...he is valedictorian of his class!!
Sorry I get off on a rant on him every time don't I?
It's going to be a long painful day I think.:(

once i get going i have to get into the kitchen and do a few things on the cleaning front and cooking. then a little more housework in case the inspectors do come by monday or tuesday. also the computer lady is supposed to bring my desktop back all speeded up! hoping for a good day indoors b/c it's muggy and gross outside.

Dix, you know sometimes i wonder if a lot of your pain is caused by the stress you get from one thing and another, i mean this kid for example, they often take advantage of you, a part of you does it for the boy cos like you say he's a good kid with crap parents, but its so frustrating and annoying!
seren, i hate muggy and close, it drains me like nothing else. I'd love to know what your pc lady does to speed up your desktop, our pc is incredibly slow on start up and shut down. Done all the usual defraging etc.
Well we was supposed to get a storm but i think it must have by passed where i live. It poured down with rain this morning and there was a couple bits of thunder. This afternoon its dried up but its really breezy, but its no where near as bad as the weather warnings we had.
Been a bit bored, had a little sort in the attic and had a go at making something from pinterest, but i failed miserably lol. Oh well, it gave me something to do for a little while.

Dix sorry you are hurting so bad. I hope you have rested by now and tomorrow is a quieter day. School day?? Seems so. I am with Empathy the stress can do it. I know you adopt that young man if you could. This doesn't help your pain to think about his situation. I know how much you love your boys and to have this guy with parents like his gives you heartache.
Serenity great news on the souped up, speeded up desktop. So happy you found someone. Have fun in the kitchen. We have the yucky humidity also.
Empathy can't see you failing on a Pinterest project. Good news that the big storm skipped you. A breeze sounds lovely. I took a picture of a picture that reminded me of your table for two in the garden. Only problem with this table is there is no room for a plate. Maybe a cup of tea. You would have to share with the plants. I will post in the photo section.
Not much here. Overdid because I needed to and thought I could. My bathroom needed sorting desperately and dust bunnies were taking over the entire house. Darling husband did some heavy lifting and there is only a bit left for tomorrow. Our housecleaning efforts have been a three day long event. We must be getting old or thorough. The latter would be my choice. Always young at heart.
