I also hit the jackpot at the Library yesterday....they had magazines for a nickel each!!! Then sent a friend a package and went to PT. Starting to dread PT , it is becoming more painful each time I go in.
Anyone have plans for the Fourth of July weekend? My MIL is cooking fish Fri. And my cousin is having a BBQ cookout on Sat.
No plans today. Just PT and cleaning my floors. What's on your Agenda?

So mad at Xfinity! They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years. I took the equipment to UPS for shipping and cancelled my subscription today! Next door was a cookie shop called Crumbl. I had heard of it before but never went in until today. I don't need one more sugar fix, but maybe it will help with my sad) grieving heart....$15...

Been to work today and its been the hottest day here so far this year. I do hope the nice weather continues for the weekend!
My table finally turned up 2 days later than expected,but then thats Amazon for you! I might have a go putting it together friday.
Here when you turn 50, you get a letter for breast screening and you get sent an appt every 3 years, like a smear, well i got a letter, i'm 48, it said they were extending the age for random women.
I have to admit i'm not looking forward to it, anyone got any advice?
I'm so tempted to cancel, but that would be foolish.

dixie, i don't crochet any more, but i have lots from my grandmothers and others. it would be a good thing to get back into. please, post the link. i'd still love to see it. i love library finds like that. so much fun!
hope you have a great fish fry. my grand uncle used to do that each year...yum! tell your therapist and see if he/she is pushing a bit too much.
empathy, glad your table finally arrived. i would do the screening if it's offered to be on the safe side and also to have a baseline for them to compare later. it's not that bad and i have RSD (nerve damage) on my right side front and back, so the tech was very gentle.
had a good mix of good and rough today. the mobile market was the highlight. going downtown for errands was the low light. just very tired and have a big day tomorrow - extended family barbeque at my sister's place in the country. then a bridal shower for my nephew's fiance on saturday....yikes. double yikes.

Not sure at all what we will do tomorrow for Independence Day. Better known as the Fourth of July. We are expecting more rain so I think the Firework's display may be canceled. :-) But I am pretty sure that the neighbors will still put on their show inside of city limits.....against the law of course. I just bite my tongue and pray that they don't catch my house on fire.
Great with the Lottery of magazines, Kim. And so sorry PT has become so painful. I hope the pain pays off and you will feel better soon because of it.
Empathy, I hope you enjoy your table with not too much trouble putting it together. And whatever you do, DO NOT cancele a screening....that would be foolish. Are you only allowed a smear every 3 years?? Even my very expensive Health Care allows for me to have one free Well Woman every year. I will never understand how other countries Health Care works. I still struggle to understand mine. Go get checked....it will give you peace of mind to know that everything is ok.
seren, wishing you a great day tommorrow with your family at the BBQ and the Bridal Shower the next day. Sounds like a really big weekend. Hope your RSD does not keep you from having a wonderful weekend.

Off for road trip to Colorado Saturday.
It'll be fun, but my planters fasciitis ) is now acting up after few years of rest. I am ok in tennis shoes, but in flip flops, I'm hurting. Oh well, stinking feet and a limp. I guess if it keeps up, dr when home.
