yep, this whole week is searing hot and pop up storms. glad you're getting out early. sweet of you to make a meal ahead for the kids. wish your brother the best with his surgery and to you with the travel.
hippy, sounds like you're just trading gks for dogs! good luck managing. i think you're right about the tendonitis. walking with my cane is stressing it, too. i'm going to get salonpas patches today b/c i've heard they really help.
carly, the irony of the watermelon. glad you got a break for a few days.
i just sat around yesterday alternating heat and ice. i tried to picked up a pot to rinse it yesterday and decided against it. today i just need to get to walgreen's for a script and the patches and see how those work. i hope i can do something else. i'm tired of being a couch potato.
have a good day all!
Hot weather....we have yet to have any of that yet. But I'm not sure if I envy you.
Carly in answer to your question about computers under water, you need these to regulate nitrogen and air for what is called rebreathers (is sophisticated tanks that don't have bubbles that go to the surface because it repurposes the air). Rebreathers are used so they can take pictures without disturbing things with bubbles, and stay under longer. The computers also tell you when to stop diving, and when to stop at a certain level and wait so you don't get the 'bends'. Basically, essential to keeping you alive.
www.shearwaterresearch.com I'm a bit of a tech nerd and we work with the likes of the Navy and National Geographic.
Today is work as usual but I love it.
Hugs to you all.
So far the extras on dogs no problem. They are not integrated into our group. We give them separate playtime outside and play with them in air conditioned bonus room attached to house. It is part of central A/C. They are driving our labs a bit nuts because they know they are in their and sometimes the girls stand at the door and bark because they want in with them.
Serenity with my tendonitis I had to eventually get a prednisone PAC because my shoulder froze. I wasn't using my arm. Once I started the med the doctor had me walking my fingers up the wall and doing some other exercises to loosen it up. He gave me a choice of shot or meds. If you just pulled a muscle which is what I thought I did resting it and salonpas or icyhot should help in a few days. I tried some sort of thing like that at first and like third day whiled rubbing it in something happened a muscle spasm I think. That was my downfall. Then frozen shoulder. Looking to positive and hoping for just a muscle strain. Do watch though.
Angela you are a techie and so happy for you to be right where you can use all that skill. Sounds like an awesome company and a perfect match for you.
Hugs to all
