Carly sounds like you had such a good time at your daughters :) I'm glad :) maybe you could share that red bean and rice recipe? Lol and that was wise of you to share the ice cream cake lol
Hippy do you make your own scones? I've never had a store bought one I liked....too dry. Was wondering if a home made one would be better.
Serenity how was your weekend at mom's? How did the chocolate cupcakes turn out? Did you save me one?;)
Janie have you posted a pic of your grandson in the parade yet? I will check. Sounds like you had a fun weekend too:)
Mine was pretty quiet. Still working on my journals. I'll post a pic of one when I get it done some time today....at least the cover. Nothing special.
Hoping today is another quiet day. Youngest will probably want to go swimming. I will work on journal:) doing a load of laundry now. Take a nap in the hammock maybe:) life is good today:)

Ive hoovered up everywhere, moped the kitchen floor, toilet and bathroom, also done 2 loads of laundry.
lol, i then had some lunch, sat back to watch a bit of tv and fell asleep! I'm obviously doing do much.

my weekend was mostly nice but dad was a royal pain yesterday. his dementia level was high and he get beligerent and very hard to deal with. i made cupcakes in the morning, lunch for mother and i, then prepped for dinner and grilled it, loaded the dishwasher, then we had to get him back to the home which is very difficult. we were both too wiped out to even think about getting me home and i wasn't even packed yet. so i'm getting packed up and looking forward to getting home and loving on penny! and collapsing i might add!

On Friday my aunt called to tell me my uncle had A-Fib. He was to see cardiologist today. A few hours ago she called to tell me he is in the hospital with an intestinal obstruction. They have hooked up to an IV and inserted a NG tube hoping that will get things going. If it doesn't work surgery. How I don't know with heart out of rhythm and thinned blood. Please pray for him.
I am a mess. Just so worried. So close to aunt and uncle. Only ones left from my mom.
