i'm sorry that your mother's pain is so unrelenting and that yours is so bad as well. i hope you two can find some comfort in each other's company.
i got to that point yesterday - the not being able to be upright. too much time in the kitchen even sitting on my stool just doesn't work some days. i really think it's these constant storms b/c i have been achy. we just had another one this morning, then it's supposed to clear up later. oh, my roasted veggie soup did turn out nicely, so i can put a bit away in the freezer. my neighbor doesn't like carrots, so i didn't ask her to try it, but it is blended so maybe i sneak it by her.
i'm on the heating pad and have no idea what i'll do today myself. puttering and pain management. i need to get downtown but i guess it can wait.
yes, very much missing those who haven't been able to get in to say hi.
good day to all!
That is so scary dixe. Glad all worked out other then the glasses
Feel better seren. I think I'll join you in a lazy day
The weekend was too busy.
Wedding on Saturday. Beautiful and touching. I was glad son decided not to attend. It was his second cousins.
They grew up together during the summer. Hoping son finds that true love I saw in them.
Last night my dinner for 5 turned into 15. So fun but brain full of many people in one weekend.
So now I sit untangling my necklaces. I've been meaning to do this task every time I want to wear a necklace, which is not often.
Hugs to all and feel better too!
Janie
a needle or straight pen is helpful for untangling those. i know what you mean about only thinking about it when you go to put one on! good luck and enjoy your day!
They grow up so fast. She is only 11 but already wears a size 8.
Carly I am sorry you experiencing fallout from another group. Do we ever grow up? How is your summer. Do you have a garden? I remember last summer you talking about one and how the Mosquitos were so thick when you worked in your garden. Good to see you here. This group is a breath of fresh air.
Kim what a scare for David. My mind is working overtime but do you have some mischief in you neighborhood. It would seem someone loosened the lug nuts . I think you need a dog. Hope mom just came for a day visit. I know it is hard for both of you. I am worried about you and will be glad when you get that CT.
Serenity soup sounds so good. We have been cool temps here with the rain last night and today. I am sorry for the aches and pain you have. I bet your balcony flowers are doing well with Mother Nature watering them.
Janie you had a busy weekend. Nothing more heartbreaking than our child's heart being broken. Time does heal but that sure doesn't help at this point. My oldest son is at the point where he just can't seem to give his heart up to another woman. He has been hurt so many times. I picture you sitting and untangling your chains as you sort the guests from your dinner party. What a lovely picture that is.
Muskrat nice to see you. Hope you enjoyed your supper.
While sitting here on my front porch I just looked up and saw a sweet young fawn. When she saw me she decided to cross the street which is quite busy this time of day. My heart dropped. She is safe. We are all trees and set well off road but our road is used as a go around and people drive well above the speed limit.
I think they use this road because it isn't patrolled.
love and light
