Morning Hens,

Are you glad it's Friday? I get to stay home again today. ....I hope. Had to go to bank and Walmart yesterday. Ridiculous reasons. I would really like to stay home one day!!!
My mother is freezing me to death! It is set on 72° in here which is too cold for me but I have it there for her and she is hot. I AM NOT turning it down any lower!!!

Field day for my son today. Mon. And tues. Are kids last day of school. I think David is going to get to work all summer....thank goodness!

Thats about 22 Celsius? I always have to convert when when you say the temp as we use degrees C.
Ive been weekly food shopping, thats it for me today, not going anywhere else.
I feel so drained of energy, i could quite happily go back to bed and sleep!

Your's break up for the summer already? When do they go back, do they get about 6 weeks like ours do?

good deal, dixie, glad you get a home day. your mother is unusual in that respect. my aunt used to keep her thermostat at 80 even in the summer. hope you can keep her cool without freezing yourself, plus those utility bills.

empathy, glad you're done with the shopping for the day. will you be enjoying your garden or working on your planters?

i totally forgot that monday is a holiday, so i need to get out for errands today. i'd rather stay in and play in the kitchen. my appt yesterday went better than expected, so i hope they didn't forgot anything. so much paperwork.

Back again, its almost 7 in the evening. I potted a couple of plants that i bought and done 2 loads of aundry, and made up 2 beds. After that i did nothing! Wasted the day, but i'm just so tired.

Serenity did you get your errands done? Did it rain up your way? It looked like it was going to rain here but then passed us by.

Empathy what did you plant? Sounds like you wore yourself out today.

I'm watching a movie called piranha ...nothing else on. Not a very good movie.
