Morning Hens,
Going to SIL's house this morning. She has clothes she wants me to try on now. Sigh...I really don't want to.
Wound up not going to my aunts, my other cousin gave the clothes away.....I was kinda glad.
My son is going to wash their camper top while we are there.
Went to the rodeo again last night. It was a big disappointment. No one could ride a horse, no one could ride a bull, only one managed to rope a calf. It was pitiful and I spent $20! Don't think I will go next year.
Trying to take one room a day and spring clean it. Did my room day befor yesterday. My mom came all day yesterday and I'll be gone most of today. Need to get it done before dh gets home. Anyone else spring cleaning?

i'm sorta spring cleaning/planting/organizing...i feel like i have ADD though b/c i can't focus on one task, but part of that is pain. i just can't stay in one position for a long time, so i take a break and start something else. i've been working on my clothes for weeks, but with the crazy weather i can't get winter stuff put away. i'm going to leave a few things out and get the rest put away. i feel like i have a better plan today. chopping veggies for a lentil veggie stoup, then working on plants before it gets too hot, then put on soup with plenty of rest breaks!

i think all my decorating has been a part of my spring cleaning. So far this year ive done the downstairs loo, the bathroom and the hallway and landing. When my parents go away in June i'm going to do our bedroom.
We can only do our bedroom when my parents are away as we have somewhere to shift all our furniture to out the way.
Seren i love the sound of your healthy cooking you often mention, something i must do more....
I was saying to my DH this morning i wish i wasn't one of those pple that let the weather put me off doing things in the garden. I still haven't got out there and done what i wanted to. Mind you.. another reason for that is that the garden is in such a mess because we lost both sides of the fences during the winter. We are just fixing and working on our side as the ground has at long last dried up enough to do after all that rain. I need to do the borders both sides of the garden!
Watched a film this afternoon and emailed a friend this morning, thats all ive done today.

Kim sorry no cowboys. Hope there was a good band at least. Spring cleaning time for sure. I with you. A little at a time. Hope you find some treasures at your SIL. I can imagine your relief for your your canceled trip to your aunts yesterday.
Serenity we were almost 90 yesterday. 87 and today we are at 68. Hope you get your plants potted and then rest. The front coming in may give you some added pain. With the way the weather is going you may be wise to wait on potting them on balcony. Big storms I think for parts of TN tomorrow.
Empathy I so agree the painting you have done is spring cleaning. In my younger days painting and rearranging the furniture was part of the deep clean. Hope your fence goes up before another big rain.
I have worked on my drawer of my chest. It is the junk drawer. Now moving on to the top of dresser. Last week I washed the curtains in my bedroom and cleaned the cabinet under my sink in bathroom while cleaning bathroom. It is a slow process. Four years ago I would have accomplished this and more in a half a day.
My dear husband made a batch of my bran muffins that have cranberries and shredded carrots. They are so healthy.
Our weather is threatening. Weather channel has us 70% chance for tornado in 50 mile radius. We are in a watch until 11PM. The temperature hasn't shot up to the 80 predicted and no sun so I am hoping the atmosphere will not be right for tornado and that we will just have thunderstorms. We do for sure have flood warnings.
