I have to take my boys to my brothers house today to move furniture. His recliner broke so he bought a new one but his shoulder is still injured so he can't move furniture. That's all that's on my agenda...well and pick up one med.

I went to town to look for an out for my aunties funeral, but ended up buying other clothes i liked lol!
I'm just killing time now waiting for DH to finish work so we can go do the weekly food shop.
Yes seren work has got easier, ive gained a bit more confidence, i think what happened was it took me a long time to adjust to being back at work and a very different type of work. I still need to look for something else tho as its the physical side of things, so much heavy lifting! And i think its sensible to think that it would be easier to get a different job now at nearly 48, rather than when i'm 58.

It is always so hard to find something nice for a funeral isn't it! It's use to be really had to find a dress period but dresses are coming back in fashion now....nothing I will wear but....
dixie, glad you're putting those boys' energy to good use. hope you enjoy your day. yes, i've noticed a lot of MIA hens, too, and i miss hearing how everyone is doing.
empathy, glad you're re-acclimated to work. it probably is a good idea to look for something less taxing on your body. isn't that the way shopping works? you go with a purpose and you find everything but that. glad you found some things you like though.
i still have this nagging sore throat, but i had a good night's sleep...just had to gargle a couple of times. it seems packing for a weekend is as bad as for a week. i'm looking forward to this. i'm going to make a fruit salad to take and we'll cook a pot roast for dad's dinner. i always take him some treats bc he doesn't get enough at the nursing home.
