Morning Hens,
Any plans for the weekend? It's too cold here, all I want to do is stay in where its warm! It's 12° this morning. We are suppose to get 1 to 2 inches of snow tonight. I wish I had planned out some meals yesterday and picked up some stuff at Walmart but I didn't. Now I don't know what I will do for meals this weekend without getting back out and going to Walmart again:(. Just found out I will have an extra kid this weekend. I just feel so grumpy:(

We did our weeks shopping this morning, i dont think we are going far this weekend as there is supposed be more bad weather expected, rain and winds..
No hippy, its Somerset and Devon thats badly flooded and pple have been moved out their homes. I have water up and over my patio, but thank the lord its not in the house.

Dix, I think you will get a pass on being grumpy. :-) I sure would be! You have been through so much! Going through everything with your dh and dealing with your son is a lot on your plate. Hubby's can be the worse when it comes to being sick or in pain. When my dh gets the sniffles he acts like he has the swine flu!! I so hope that your dh is getting better and not having to rely on the pain meds for too much longer.
Not to be nosey......oh, I guess I am. :-) Who would ask you to have extra kids for the weekend?? Don't they know all you are having to deal with right now? Make sure that you tell them that it has been too cold and snowing to get to the market. And for them to please bring supplies to feed those extra kids.

Empathy, So good to hear that the water is not in the house. And hopefully it won't ever. Good that you got the shopping done so you don't have to venture out during the bad weather.
Finally!! I had my last eye surgery and the next day the doc said everything looked ok. I have another check up on Tuesday. My eyes still feel a bit sensitive and scratchy with a little pain. But I'm thinking that being on the computer may be causing a bit of strain on my eyes as I am using older glasses to see up close. I guess we will see what happens. No pun intended. lol
