oh dixie, welcome home! i swear you never know with hospitals. hope dh's pain pills kick in soon. at least you're home where you can rest and be in your own space. i hope folks brings lots of casseroles when they come visit so you can have some good food without cooking or overpaying. prayers for a fast recovery for dh and excellent results!!

light plans here today. mostly phone calls and emails about my aunt yesterday. my angel of a neighbor brought me some leftover ribs and baked beans for dinner! the apt mgr called and i called corporate. i'm so tired of the situation in my apt...not a thing done. i said to the corporate guy that i want a rent rebate or i'm pursuing legal means. period.

We have had a wonderful week but some really down times for me!!

This morning we wake up near Charleston West Virginia and headed to stop and visit friends in Indiana and then tomorrow get home.

We had a wonderful time but sure looking forward to getting home!!!

I've already done quite a bit this morning, but my floors are once again screaming for the mop! I have just one client coming tomorrow morning, but my son and his new wife are coming for lunch so I do have some preparation ahead. Cancelled the chiropractor today. I can't afford it and though he helped put my ribs back in their cage, I think all the other adjusting is too much at my age....things want to stay where they are familiar!

Kim so happy to hear you are home. Good news. No better place to finish healing than at home.
No one should come through the door without groceries or a meal. It helps so much. People still do that in the south. Hopefully everywhere. Sure helped us when hubby had five bi-pass heart surgery. When we got home we had a big cooler sitting on our porch full of food and two bags of groceries. I was is no shape to shop. Had been at hospital for two weeks with husband. Glad the pain is getting back under control.

Serenity bless your neighbor. She sounds a true friend. Hope you get somewhere with corporate.

Cherry you and me both on floors. I keep putting it off but it has to be done. Wisdom comes into play on your decision to let some parts of your body stay where they are. I hope your ribs are doing better though. Anxious to hear what feast you prepare for your son and his beloved new wife.

Cindi having come from a trip I can say for certain there is know place like home. I have enjoyed your pictures on FB and it looks like you have had a good time. I have wondered if the nasty weather got in your way but then thought "shoot, you are used to it anyway". As long as you weren't near Atlanta. Now that was one big nightmare. Really felt sorry for those folks.

I am resting today. Yesterday nearly did me in. I had a hair appointment that lasted from 11 to 1 and then a half hour to get ready to go 30 minutes to therapy appointment at 2 which lasted until 3:15. We were home at 4 and it seemed day was over. Our six year old grandson is spending the night. Looking forward to that.
