Brrrrr it's 12° here this morning. Sure glad I don't have to go anywhere today.
We got out last night to celebrate our anniversary. Big mistake! We drove 35 min. To use a gift card to eat at Applebee's. When we got there and walked in it was so cold inside and everyone was sitting inside bundled up in their coats. The girl sat us down and I asked her if her heat was out. I had to wait for her answer because they were drilling on the walls outside the building and it was deafening loud!! She finally said that the heat was out. We got up and left. No way could I have sat there. I would have been in so much pain by the time we got done eating and who wants to sit bundled up and shivering while they eat and unable to hear the conversation!!! Thankfully there was another restaurant in town we were able to go to.
Then there is one little store in that town that occasionally carries scrapbook supplies. Had dh take me by...nothing!:( just my luck:( o well this calls for a trip to Jackson! Lol or another big town now that I have a GPS!!!! O yes!!!!
Going to do some scrapbooking today. What are you girls going to do?

dixie, i can't believe they had the appleby's open under those circumstances. glad you had an option. brrrrr, good day to stay in. i have to do some first of the month banking, so i think i have to get out. i'm going to make calls to see if i can avoid it. i have plenty to do around here.

I'm all for staying in today. It's currently -9 and continuing to drop. The wind chill is close to 30 below! I have two friends coming for haircuts at 10:30 and the rest of the day is all about feeding the wood fire! My son needs to get his butt home and bring a weekend's worth of wood in for me. I'll be out by early afternoon!

Had a bad night in bed so sitting with my heating pad now and hoping for the best.
