Last weekend before Christmas. Better hurry...rush rush rush and get all that last min. Shopping done:) so glad I'm done:) who wants to slap me for rubbing it in lol. Sorry. My dh is a last min. Shopper and I do mean last min.....as in Christmas Eve night!!!! I tell him he puts so much thought into it I almost don't want it!
1/2 day today for the kids. Hate that as they are just bored to death at home. Tried to talk them into putting up a tree just to have something to do but they wouldn't.
Whew! My dog stinks!! She is getting a bath today!! Stinky dog. She needs a bath every 5 days!
Insert coffee break"....................well geeee this is a first....I made hot water! I forgot to put the coffee in the coffee maker. Grrrr lol so now back to waiting on coffee to perk:)
Guess it's gonna be one of those kinda days:)
Got my box shipped yesterday. Think I am going to start working on a junk journal now.

I've been pushing my body way too hard and the pain is taking the fun out of everything. Between housework and holiday baking...throw in a client here and there.....I feel like going into hiding.

Dh is off work and we went to the local shops and got a bit of food in.
So how many of us get fed up looking at all the left over food and treats after Christmas?! Every year we say we are going to cut down but we never seem to.

Empathy since I haven't been doing the cooking the last few years I haven't had left overs and believe it or not I miss them. I'm one of the lucky ones...my dh will eat left overs till they are gone. As for diet....I don't bother any more:(
Cherry we always over do it this time of year....I'd tell you not to but it would be a wast of time:) but the end results are worth the smile you get.
I haven't done much...got some more paper work done that I had to send to memphis hospital where dh will be having his surgery. Did a tiny bit of crafting. Trying to get warm at the moment. It's not that cold today but for some reason I am feeling cold. Just a weather change I think. 30% today of rain and 100% chance tomorrow.
Haven't been posting lately, just wanted to wish everyone a wonderful holiday time. I am ready for New Years!
Dixie-I used to have all my shopping done by September. Now it is a nightmare. Today is the first day that I bought any gifts and a pumpkin pie for me. lol I forget the coffee a lot. I think it is called "Some-timers Disease". Praying for your hubby and your family.
Cherry- Holidays are so busy. Everyone wants their hair just right. Pace yourself and pamper yourself.
Empathy- Left overs are the only way I can recoup from holidays. Honestly, I am allergic to diets. I am pathetic when it comes to dieting for myself. I lost so much weight this year from all the medical issues that I am finally back to a size 8, but I don't recommend the diet. :)
Joyce- sorry about the snow problem. Stay safe and warm. TP is very important :) I was snowed in for 10 days on my farm. No fun.
Serenity- I am so sorry about the waterfall. That is really pathetic that they are not handling it immediately. Sending you a hug. I would be crying, then screaming.
Me, I am just glad that we will be having a Christmas dinner together with the kids and one grandchild. Hopefully one of them will put up a tree for me.
