Morning my darling Hens,
What are your plans for today?
I'm going to Jackson with my mom. We are going to hit two of the three goodwill stores there and then at least one of the craft stores. Looking forward to getting out of the house.
I've been so sleepy lately. Finally figured out it's the new anti-inflammatory the dr. Gave me. Says so right on the bottle, if I would read it, that it could cause drowsiness . So I am not going to take it today and switch back to just ibuprofen. See if that cures the sleepiness.
Wishing you all a good day
Hugs

89FNo energy, just going to do whatever. Sandra, It's hard to move at a certain time in life. You've been in your home forever, at least you'll be able to travel to the beach and enjoy. Oh, we did hear Boris Johnson's tenure ended due to a series of ethics scandals, accusations of dishonesty and a final collapse of government support that forced his recognation. 88FWhat I do like is early morning clouds and then they disappear and the sun comes out. That was it's cooler in the morning. I'm sitting here looking out the window at the hummingbird with the river and dike as a back drop. It's hard to invision ever leaving but I'm also a realist with aging, especially when the luncheon we had with thirty former classmates on Monday. Sandra, we get news of...

when my dr gives me something that causes drowsiness, she says to take it at night until my body adjusts. i need all the drowsiness i can get at night...i wouldn't want to be drowsy while driving either. be careful.
a neighbor with a car is taking me food shopping to a discount place today. supposed to be good. he's a pure meat and potatoes eater, so i haven't been able to barter for food. i'll get him some food he likes. once i get that put away, i'll try to get more done around the apt. that's a coin toss.
wish a low pain, low stress day to all hens!
I was just reading comments from yesterday....I don't do the Christmas tree anymore either. I do put other Christmas pretties around the house but NO TREE!
Our family Christmas is tomorrow but we will miss it due to the winter weather storms. We have to drive an hour each way and hubby eyesight is very bad so I get the night driving. I am not comfortable in the dark with rain or snow. I hope the family posts lots of pictures on FB for us to enjoy.
Have a great weekend.
Now for me i'd rather just have a tree and fairy lights, instead of the foil chains on the ceiling and tinsel draped here and there.
Sounds like everyone has something to keep them busy. Ive done my weekly grocery shop and been in the attic trying to sort stuff out, and i finally wrote out some Christmas cards.
A book of 12 2nd class stamps cost £6, how does that compare in America? just curious...
Joyce, I hope you get to meet up with family another time, thats disappointing you will miss it.
Remember i said i had earache a while back... its been about 3 weeks and i still have some hearing loss in that ear, its so annoying and frustrating!
Hugs to all
Bargain shopping Serentiy, you got to like that!
Oh, Joyce that is too bad you miss the gathering with your family. I hope something changes in your favour.
Hi Empathy. In Canada we pay the $6 for a book of 10, but I hear in the next 2 years it will be $1.00 per stamp and they will stop delivering door to door. Internet has killed the postman. Sorry about your ear.
Yesterday I had gone for another job interview and I really wanted this job and as usual feared that I blew it. I was one of 7 candidates so today I'm trying not to think about it. I will meditate on it then do some painting. Tomorrow I have my 3 year old grandson over for the night so he is a lovely distraction.
Hugs buddies
I had to drive on a really bad road to get to my doc appointment this morning. It's terribly cold and windy and I think the salt truck skipped that road.
The PA I'm seeing now is wonderful. I'm so relieved to know I never have to see that miserable doc again...unless I ended up in the hospital!!! I've just started on a low dose of Wellbutrin in addition to the Zoloft. She's aiming to pull me out of the dark place that I've been living in. We'll see...something needs to change.
Hugs and clucks...
