Well slap me with a happy stick it's Friday! ( don't know why but felt like saying that so by George I did! Lol)
What are you girls up to today? Anything slap happy? I'm gonna work on cleaning up my craft area and then mom and I are going to go eat fish. The last two mornings have been really good for me, then at 2:30 I crash and the pain becomes unbearable. So of it is the Topomax that is helping I will be glad when I can increase i t next week!
Littlebit is running through the house like a little wild Indian this morning jumping on anyone that passes by her, human or animal lol...she is something else!
Dixie got groomed yesterday so got to sleep on my bed all afternoon. Plus I found her a new blanket that I passed down to her. A fuzzy one that use to be Jacob's when he was little. She loves it.
O btw...the calf seems to finally be putting on some weight and doing better! Finally!!!
Well that's all my news unless you want to hear more about my critters ....especially the one that keeps getting into my craft supplies!:( grrrrrr

have a great time with your mother. there are some good fish places around here - trout to catfish.
they couldn't finish installing my heater yesterday, so my craft corner and all else is spread around my apt. but they'll be back today. just came back from my walk and chatted with a couple of neighbors. i'm the plant supplier. now i'm just asking for jars to root them in. my little part to make this sterile place greener.
my grocer still uses brown bags for veggies, so i'm going to make little "boxes" and ribbons from them for my door decorations.

I am sorry that I can't address all of you girls today but I am just SO tired.
I have been getting an average of about 3 hours of sleep a night for the past few ones.
I got my surgery scheduled yesterday on left foot set for Dec 4th.

Serenity love your idea for door. I am going to create a idea from one of my magazines for my front porch.
It uses an old fashioned bushel basket filled with cedar tree clippings to look like a tree and then a galvanized small tub doing same. Different heights of course. I have the smaller basket but I think it will work.
Cindi full moon is keeping me awake until 1AM. The moon is changing so I hope to get back to earlier schedule . The past two nights I have taken my emergency Lunesta for sleep. That is in my tool bag for desperate measures. Hope you get better sleep tonight. I read that it isn't a myth about a full moon interrupting our sleep cycle. Cindi good to get the hardware removal out of the way before Christmas.
I canceled PT today. Our temp is doing a nosedive. We had the real deal thunderstorm last night with mid 60's at midnight. By morning tomorrow it will be mid 20's. Lots of pain. My husband and watched Marley and Me this morning. I think I went through a half of box of Kleenex . Finally thought to hand a few to him cause he needed them. We love our dogs and that movie is a heart tugging one.

Then Wednesday I was chewing a cookie and my lower dental partial SNAPPED! So scooted to the dentist and had to wait until this morning to get it back. I am all smiles again.
Loved Marley and Me! When we watched it we went out and adopted a dog! Now we have aother puppy and he is a handful. He can be an angel one minute and change to Devil Dog in an instant.
I've read everyone's posts, but I'm too tired to respond to each separately. I guess I must have been slapped with a different stick!
When I was ready to leave PT this morning I found that someone had worn my footwear instead of their own. I waited for half an hour while the receptionist made calls to people who may have left while I was being treated. It was snowing, those were the only shoes I wear in this weather and I wanted to go home! I ended up wearing a pair of sneakers that someone had left 2 years ago. One of my little boys obviously thought they didn't belong in our house and filled one of them with pee within minutes of taking them off.
It took a couple hours for my mocs to be located and they are 40 minutes from town!!!
I booked 3 haircuts for tomorrow... by accident. I'm pretty sure I know what that will do to me. Just one is painful!
