And...I, too, get a great deal of inspiration from the folks here.
Sometimes it just amazes me that so many of us keep surviving ....
Then, to see those barely hanging on themselves reach out to others...
Well....I don't have the right words for how that moves me.
Luv n hugs..jc

It is hard to live day to day in pain and with limitations yet it I see it every day.
I see everyone I know to be hurting reach out to others with affection and with humor.
I also like "Godvine.com it is short little inspirational videos.
My biggest inspiration though is God! He gets me though my days!

My son is my biggest inspiration. He became very ill in 5th grade. His joints swelled up, the bottom of his feet looked like there were tennis balls glued on them. He lost 60 pounds was bleeding internally and I had a list of people lined up for blood transfusions.
He told me that I had always healed him so why wasn't I helping him! I thought I would die of heartbreak. Then I ran across a quote that he and I always said when he was younger and trying to achieve things.
"What the mind believes the body can achieve." I don't know who wrote it, but I posted it everywhere in our house. He took on the attitude that he was going to get out of the wheel chair and live life again. It was a hard journey of chemo, physical therapy, hospitals and too many doctors but he won. The hospital said they were going to use him as a poster child they did not expect his recovery and remission. He went back to karate and achieve his black belt He runs, swims and bikes everyday knowing that anyday it could come back in full force but in the interim he is making the most of his life. The arthritis pain is constant the headaches become intense but he refuses to slow down. He ends up in the hospital every so often but he gets back up. He is the most positive person I know. And he will jump all over me if I come out with anything negative
I guess he is giving me my own medicine. I never let the kids give up and I taught them that God was always there to get them through.
yes, lots of inspiration here.
RJ your son is an inspiration as are you. I like "what the mind believes the body can achieve".
My faith carries me through the day. I sometime forget to look up.
